Career Summary

Helen is a marketing expert and experienced leader, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.  

She has spent 25 years in both the charity and commercial sectors, from startups to large corporates in aviation, automotive, rail, telecoms and tech.

For 14 years she was Head of Marketing for the Royal International Air Tattoo, the world’s greatest airshow so has excellent knowledge and connections in the aviation and aerospace industry, both commercial and military. 

Her focus is delivering comprehensive marketing strategies using feedback, research and data to inform stakeholder engagement that has purpose and impact.

She now runs her own marketing consultancy, International Aviation & Airshow Marketing, developing targeted, successful and profitable marketing strategies for Aerospace clients that incorporate STEM, sustainability and inclusivity.

Hobbies and Interests

“As well as being an AvGeek, my ‘go-to’ activity is walking, and I have hiked mountain trails all over the world. I enjoy volunteering and have been the Chair of a business networking group for 6 years, I mentored Royal Air Force Air Cadets to reach Everest Base Camp and run the Chicago marathon for the charity WhizzKidz, providing specialist wheelchairs to children, as well as my current role as a trustee for Flying Scholarships for Disabled People.”
